Does the 2023 Jeep Wrangler use the standard diode kit for tow bar wiring when being flat towed?

The correct tow bar wiring diode kit will depend on if your 2023 Jeep Wrangler has the ParkSense proximity sensors or not. If your vehicle does have the ParkSense you will need the kit that has smart diodes so it will ensure that your tail lights get the proper voltage. The reason for that is Jeeps with ParkSense have variable voltage tail lights, which means two different voltages depending on if the signal is for braking or turning.

If you do have the ParkSense you will need the Roadmaster Wiring Kit with Smart Diodes # RM47ZR. If your vehicle does not have the ParkSense you will need the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154.

@Jim Roadmaster does offer a smart diode kit that's compatible with LED lamps, part # RO44FR. This kit is also compatible with the variable-voltage taillights used with the ParkSense system.
