Question:

I’m looking for a tow system for my 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave. My goal is to have the most invisible front end base plate and a tow bar rated above 8k because that is the towing limit of my RV. In regards to braking systems I would like reliability and permanent install / flip a switch to activate. Ive looked at individual components but was unsure if etrailer offered package deals of some sort as honestly I’m still in the infancy of researching. Thanks for all your time.

For a complete flat towing setup on your 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. Here are the parts I recommend for you:

Base Plate Kit - # RM77VR
Tow Bar - # RM-676 (comes with safety cables)
Wiring - # RM-154 (standard) OR # RM47ZR (if you have ParkSense feature)
Brake System - # DM86VR for motorhome hydraulic brakes OR # DM26VR for motorhome air brakes
High-Low Adapter - See attached article (bar-mount height is 17-3/4" and you need extensions like # RM-910648-10 as well if you use an adapter)

All of the base plate kits for your Gladiator Mojave sit just under your front bumper so the design is the same no matter what brand - I like the Roadmaster kit because of how easy it is to connect the tow bar to the base plate kit. Then from there the tow bar I recommended comes with some wiring and safety cables integrated so everything is together, the wiring kits pair with the wiring that comes with the tow bar, and then the brake kits I recommended are activated off and on by the flip of a switch so it saves you setup time.

Attached are some videos of these different products for you to check out. Be sure to make note of whether or not you have ParkSense on your Gladiator and choose the corresponding wiring method to what you have.

Hi John, I, too, have a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave and will be flat-towing with a 2024 Integra Odyssey 30Z with the Ford 7.3L. Is it supposed to tow 7500lb? What will I need?

@RaulL According to my research your 2024 Integra Odyssey 30Z has a 7,500 lb towing capacity (you'll want to verify this on your end). Since a 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave has a curb (unloaded) weight of 4,948 lbs your motorhome will be more than capable of handling the weight of your Gladiator. The list that I made above on this answer page is what I recommend for your application as well. It looks like your motorhome has hydraulic brakes so you'll go with the Demco Stay-IN-Play Duo Braking System # DM86VR instead of the one designed for air brakes.
