Question:
I have searched the market for a trickle charger that connects the host vehicle to my tear trailer. I am using a dual lithium battery 200Ah setup and was looking to get a little boost to my trailer battery when traveling between campsites. Would this setup work for my application?

I do have an option for you but it takes a special type of charger to charge lithium batteries and it's not recommend to trickle change them. I'm sure this was more than you were expecting but anything worth doing is worth doing right and the correct way to charge the lithium trailer batteries while in tow would be with a charger such as the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger part # 331-BCDC1240D which has a mode specifically for lithium batteries. This charger will make sure your batteries are fully topped off and ready for use each time you arrive at the campsite. It will not only charge the lithium batteries at the correct rate to avoid damage but it will also ensure you don't overcharge them or pull to much power from the vehicle when you add the Redarc Smart Start Load Disconnect part # 331-SBI12-LLD. The Redarc Smart Start Load Disconnect would also allow you to jumpstart the main vehicle battery using the auxiliary battery if there were ever an issue.
