Hey Miguel! The etrailer # e27KR fits all models of the 2023 Acura MDX, including your Type S. Keep in mind, if you have a full size spare none of the hitches will fit unless you're willing to remove it. This Class III hitch has a bolt-on installation, matte black finish, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Do you plan on towing? If so, you will also need the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C53MJ. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, you can use the etrailer Ball Mount w/ Pre-Torqued 2" Ball # e67DR.

I bought this kit but the designated genial adapter is already in use. There is another mail adapter that is available. Is there a separate adapter I need to purchase to fully wire this kit?

@MiguelC there are no additional adapters. There are three white connectors there as seen in the instructions, one will be open so you can plug in the wiring harness.
