Have 2016 ram 2500 truck. Took the bed off and replaced with CM steel Flat bed, with the recessed goose neck ball. Will the companion 5th wheel hitch work?

B&W does have the Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # BWRVK3050. To verify you will be able to use this with your flatbed you will need a minimum of 18" long x 18" wide recess no more than 4" deep in your flatbed.
Otherwise we also have the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball # DM8550046 which attaches to the Hitch Ball # BWGNXA2000 and only requires a recess 8" long by 5" wide with the top of the hitch ball 13/16" or closer to the top of the flat bed. The recessed area can be no larger than 18" x 18" for this to fit as well.
