I have the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs and don’t want to buy a new hitch when I get a flat bed. Can I get just the adapter for the recessed gooseneck ball?

The base on the # DM8550045 is completely different from the # DM8550046 so you can't simply add on the adapter for the recessed ball. However, you can swap out the base with # DM6316 and use your existing head which will save money over replacing the entire thing.
