Recommended Wiring Adapter and Brake Controller for a 2018 Ram 1500 Tradesman

I seem to be having a problem locating the wiring harness for my truck. Does it need a wiring harness adapter or does it plug right in. I would like to get The Tekonsha 90195 proportional brake controller

Your 2018 Ram 1500 V8 Hemi tradesman should have an adapter to plug in the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter item # 3024-P. The connector that the adapter plugs into is found up under the dash above the gas pedal. I have linked a picture of what it will look like below.

With the item # 3024-P you will be able to install the Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller item # 90195 to your Ram 1500 without cutting or splicing wires.
