Do You Have to Get a Furrion Monitor to Use a Furrion Backup Camera in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado

I just purchased a new 2023 Stryker toy hauler rv. It came with the new furrion back up sensor camera on the back. If I purchase your 7 pin upgrade plug, and connect it to my 2022 chevy silverado HD2500 will the Furrion rear camera automatically populate the image video on my truck dash screen? In other words...will I still have to buy an actual Furrion camera monitor, or will it pair with my existing GM in dash computer screen? Many thanks

The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter for Furrion RV Observation Camera # FR87PR simply ensures you have the power required for your Furrion Vision S RV observation camera system to function properly. It will not allow the camera to show up on your existing dash monitor in your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. There is not a backup camera option currently available that ties into the factory dash monitor. Therefore you will need to get a Furrion camera monitor to use your backup camera.
