Will The Curt Echo Trailer Brake Controller Function If Turned Sideways?

Question:

Will the Curt Echo work correctly if it is turned 90 degrees? My Volvo Factory hitch has the 7 pin connector turned to the side? In the picture you can see the 7 pin to the left. I’m told it’s “ omnidirectional” but not sure.

Yes, the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 will work when turned 90 degrees. The controller was designed to work in all directions since not all 7-way connectors are going to be positioned in a straight line with the trailer.
