Question:
My trailer does not have brake flanges. I am thinking a full axle may be necessary. I see dexter axles that may do the trick. I do not see with the self-adjusting brakes. Is there a replacement axle for the 3K7258 with self-adjusting or no.

Based on what I have found, the 3K7258 axle is a standard 3,500 lb axle. To add brakes to your Carry-On trailer you will need the following:
-Hub and Drum Assemblies: Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K
-Brake Assemblies: Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting # AKEBRK-35-SA
-7-Way Wiring: Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector # HM20048 (If you want a junction box use # 3375601101)
-Breakaway Kit: Hopkins Engager Push-To-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit # 20400
If you don't have a brake controller for your vehicle I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This mounts out of sight with only the control knob visible in the cab of your vehicle. If you let me know what vehicle you have I can see if a custom wiring harness is available for installation.
