Question:

I purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee to tow behind my 2015 Fleetwood Discovery recently. I was towing a 2010 Ford Escape. They both had Blue Ox flat towing equipment. The Jeep Cherokee I find has the compatible Blue Ox Base plate. I purchased the longer tabs 9 in vs 7 in for the Escape. I then found a red tab covered toggle switch in the center console, and the fuse holder next to the battery compartment, for the Mopar electronic power steering kit to prevent the death wobble towing issue. What I don’t know is what fuse is used. I also removed the Air Force One brake system from the Escape to reinstall in the Cherokee. I need a reinstall kit only, since I have the control box and the brake pedal system already. Can you tell me what fuse is needed, and how to obtain a kit for the Air Force One removed for installation on a different vehicle?

The Mopar flat-tow wiring kit 68321424AB which was installed on your 2015 Jeep Cherokee requires a 10-amp fuse. You will be able to source this from your local hardware store.

The Demco SBS Reinstall Kit # SM99226 will contain all the parts needed to install the Demco Air Force One # SM99243 from your 2010 Ford Escape onto your 2015 Jeep Cherokee.
