2023 GulfStream Vista Cruiser Travel Trailer -23 TWS-specs: 6040 GVWR, 3835 UBW and 440 TW, Why recommend BLU67FR -8kGTW,800 TW vs BLU36FR -6kGTW, 600 TW except wrong ball size? reqd 2 5/16

It really comes down to what the loaded tongue weight would be when the 2023 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser you mentioned is ready to tow. Keep in mind that any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle counts as additional tongue weight. Since the unloaded tongue weight is going to be 440 lbs I would be inclined to believe that you'd need the Blue Ox TracPro part # BLU67FR which has a tongue weight range of 600-800 lbs and has the ball size you need of 2-5/16 inches. Its pretty easy to gain the needed 160 lbs of tongue weight needed to bump you up into the range of this system.
The part # BLU36FR has a range of 200 to 600 lbs and I would only recommend it if you were going to be barely loading the camper and tow vehicle. To also go with the correct ball size you'd want the part # C40030 and you'd be set in that regard as well.
