Yes, you can mount the Gen-Y Torsion Pintle Hook Mounting Plate for 2" Hitches item # 325-GH-1201 in either the rise or drop position. It will either give you a maximum drop of 5-1/2" or a rise of 5-1/2". It will be taller if you mount it in the rise position. It has six mounting positions that let you customize the height of the pintle.

This ball mount has a 16,000 lbs capacity and a built in tongue weight scale that shows if a load needs to be adjusted.

You will want to use either the Curt Pintle Hook item # C48210 with this mounting plate or the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ 2" Stacked Receivers - Bolt On - 7-1/2" Drop/Rise item # 325-GH-124.

Gen-Y recommends 1/2-20 x 2.00L - Grade 8 bolt, nut & lock washer Torque = 130 Ft/lbs
