This unique mount from Gen-Y Hitch includes a ball mount that can be easily positioned in one of the 4 stacked receivers that sits along the plate. This dual-ball mount lets you tow a trailer with a 2" ball coupler or a 2-5/16" ball coupler.
Also included is a pintle lock, which can be inserted into the receiver directly above the ball mount to create a pintle hitch for hooking up a trailer with a lunette ring. Unlike other adjustable pintle hooks on the market, there are no nuts and bolts to remove and retorque when you change the positioning of this hitch. Just move the ball mount and pintle lock up or down to get the proper height and secure them in place with the included pins.
With the 4 stacked receivers, not only do you have the ability to adjust the height of the included ball mount, but you also have the ability to add various other hitch-mounted accessories.

Today we're taking a look at the Gen Y adjustable two-ball mount with the stacked receivers. Now this adjustable ball mount lets you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. This mounting plate has a flat back design and attaches to your heavy-duty tow vehicle or to a hitch mounted pintle plate. Now we have a 2-inch ball and and 2-5/16th inch ball so that provides a connection point for your trailer coupler.To switch between the different hitch ball sizes all you have to do is remove pin and clip. Take this out, flip it and then reinsert it. So it's very easy to use.
It's very easy to make your adjustments. We have four stacked receivers. These are designed to accept the included ball mount and pintle lock as well as other hitch mounted accessories. Two pins and two clips are included to secure your accessories to the receivers.Each receiver measures two inches by two inches. The adjustable height design lets you tow trailers of different heights using the same vehicle and the same mounting setup so you can drop the ball mount lower or raise it higher to match your application to match your trailer's coupler height.
The bolt hole pattern is compatible with most standard pintle plates. It can also be welded directly on to your application or again, it can be bolted on to your application.We're looking at a nice, heavy-duty steel construction. We have a zinc primer and powder coat finish. It's designed to really help it resist rust and corrosion. It's SAEJ684 certified.
The product's made in the USA. The overall measurements . I took a measurement from very top to very bottom. This right here measures 13-1/2 inches. Outside edge to outside edge is six inches wide.The mount holes on the unit going side to side are separated on center by 3-3/8th inches.
And then up and down each one is separated on center by 1-3/4 inches. Again, the receivers all measure two inches by two inches. It does come with this pintle lock plate so that's going to allow you to attach a lunette ring on there. That's got two positions on it so it has an in-use and a stowed position.So when it's not in use you can actually slide it back. Another pinhole lines up and you can secure it in that position if using a standard coupler. Or if you don't want it on there at all you can simply just take it out all they way. Now when using this for a lunette ring, this is only designed to be used in conjunction with the 2-5/16 ball not the two-inch ball so please keep that in mind.The distance that we have from the center of the top receiver down to the center of the bottom receiver, that's 7-1/2 inches so that's going to be our drop or rise. The two-inch hitch ball has a capacity of 12,000 pounds with a tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. And then when using the 2-5/16 ball you'd have a capacity of up to 16,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 1,700 pounds. That's going to do it for today's look at the Gen Y adjustable two-ball mount with the stacked receivers.
