What Is The Purpose Of The HDMI Input/Output On The Furrion RV Soundbar?

Question:
Since it has been verified that the HDMI input on the front of the sound bar does not support ARC, what good is it? Why is an HDMI input. Is it just a passthrough to the HDMI out? This makes no sense. There isnt even an input source ion option for HDMI. I sarcastically question it the HDMI jack isnt connected to anything and is only there for looks.

I spoke with Furrion about the HDMI ports on the Furrion RV Soundbar w/ Bluetooth # FSB2N25MCBL, and they informed me that the HDMI ports on the sound bar are simply a pass through. One will need to be hooked up on the front and the back in order for it to operate anything on the TV. is to transmit video images.
Additionally, this soundbar is compatible with Bluetooth, so if desired you could connect a device and play audio from up to 30' away.
