  Hey Elvin, thanks for reaching out! At this point in time (May of 2025) Furrion doesn't have a heat strip option for their Chill Cube line of AC units. What I recommend doing is using one of the newer R32 Furrion Chill HE AC Units so you can use the Heat Strip Add-On # FR63PR. If you let me know what AC unit you're wanting to replace, I can see if we have something that is direct compatible, or if you need to replace the entire system.

  Hi Nick; you can definitely convert this over to use the thermostat. The new setup will require the thermostat # FR33PR and a new air distribution box # FR57PR or # FACT12SA-PS. However, the manual heat strip you have now will not be compatible. You can either replace it with the # FR63PR which includes a controller or you can pull the heat strip and just add the controller # FR43PR.

These AC systems do require a distribution box inside in order to operate.   Hey Steve, thanks for reaching out. The Dometic # DMC26ZR is not approved for cargo trailers because of the roof strength and thickness. Most cargo trailers do not have a reenforced roof structure capable of supporting an AC unit (around 80 lbs). AC units can be added to cargo trailers but in most cases your would need to build out and reenforce the roof.   Hello Jimmy, thanks for reaching out. To replace your Dometic 13,500 BTU AC unit, I recommend the Furrion Chill HE # FR82PV. This is a 13,500 BTU unit just like your Dometic. The Furrion unit comes with a conversion kit which allows it to be directly compatible with your current Dometic AC system. So all of you ceiling registers and thermostat will stay in place and work exactly the same, only with colder air. A heat strip can be added, and for that use part # FR63PR.
