Yes you can absolutely use the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # C17132 with the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control # C17501.
This shank will fit into 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" trailer hitch receivers, an overall height of 14-1/2" , 9-1/4" of drop, 12" of rise, and an overall length of 12-1/2".

This answer is correct. I have this setup. The drop side is tapered to 2 inches from 2.5 inch shank. It's so gradual and well made that you can't tell without measuring both sides.
