The only difference between the two is the diameter of the hub that the cable would wrap around.
The hub of the # DL14958 is 3-1/8 inches while the hub of the # DL15850 is 2-1/2 inches. The # DL14958 can accommodate up to 40 feet of 5/16 inch cable, while the # DL15850 can handle up to 45 feet of the same diameter cable.
In other words, the # DL15850 has a slightly larger cable capacity. Other than that, they're identical.
