Question:

I tow a 3500 boat/trailer with about a 450 lb TW. Which hitch do you prefer and why? Your articles state a preference for the Draw Tite for the 2019 Audi and the Curt for the 2020. No mention of the EcoHitch. I tow my boat twice a year... from MI to FL and back 1250 miles each way.

The trailer hitch options for a 2019 Audi Q5 are all quite similar, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e94CR which is typically the most cost effective option. It has a 7,500 lb weight capacity with 750 lb tongue weight rating so it will be more then enough for your towing needs. Please note, you'll also need wiring to remain legal and for this I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 119250KIT.
