Question:

I have a 2022 Suburban and a grand design imagine 2400bh, what is the best option of the equalizer hitch to buy? I was assuming the 1000/10000 but the even place I am purchasing the even said to get the 1400/14000.

I recommend the 1,000/10,000 Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET with the 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2400BH. The trailer only has a dry tongue weight of 505lbs. When you add the 40lbs of propane and a 50lb battery it will put you close to 600-1,000lb rating of this Equal-i-zer hitch. The trailer is also well below the 7,495 maximum weight rating for the trailer.

It sounds like they are trying to sell you on the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37140ET as that may be the only one they have since the hitch is rated for tongue weights of 1,000-1,400lbs.

You will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install the included 2-5/16" hitch ball which comes with the hitch.
