Question:
I have a 2004 Jayco Qwest 12A popup camper that doesnt have brakes or axle with flange. Want to buy new axle with brake kit. Problem is I dont see my size. Spring to Spring is 53. Hub to hub is 68. Axle diameter is 2 3/8. Springs cant be relocated as bolted to frame member. And hub to hub is fixed as well. Any suggestions. Thanks.

There are a few things you can do to add brakes to your popup camper;
1. You can have the Brake Mounting Flange # 4-35 welded onto your current axle by a professional.
2. You can use the Timbre Axle-Less All-In-One Kit # A35RS545E which uses a different suspension system but comes with the brakes and hub/drums.
3. You can purchase a standard axle through a trailer shop that can custom order them.
I personally like the Timbren kit since it comes with everything you need plus it gives your trailer better performance since each suspension system will operate on it's own.
Attached is an installation video of the Timbren kit for you to check out.
