Question:
Where do I find my trailer brake controller plug-in? I have the panel taken off underneath the steering wheel and cannot find it anywhere.

When using the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3035-P to install a Tekonsha brake controller in your 2021 Ford Explorer, the connector is located under the dash, above and to the right of where the driver's right knee would be. If the connector is present in your Explorer it will likely be tucked up behind the panel on the right in your picture. The connector will be rectangle, grey in color and can sometime be taped to another plug making it seem like it is not what you are looking for.
If your Explorer does not have a plug, then you would need to hardwire in the brake controller.
