Mounting Hole Distance For The Furrion Shark Fin Camera Mounting Bracket

Question:

Hello! I have a Amtifo A7 rear view backup camera but didnt come with a shark fin camera mount. Ive tried to contact Amtifo but no replies. I was thinking of just mounting the camera by replacing the middle overhead marker in its spot using the marker screw holes. The bracket ears on the camera itself measures 3 3/4 from end to end. Do you know if the Furrion part #FRCBRKT-BL shark fin replacement will work? Or what the measurement is between the 2 mounting bracket holes are? Thank you !

The Replacement Shark Fin Camera Mounting Bracket # FRCBRKT-BL mounting holes are 3-11/16" apart from center to center of the holes. The body of the mount where the camera goes is only 3-1/4" wide. With the way the body forms around the mounting holes you wouldn't be able to use them to mount your Amtifo camera through them.

A lot of people will typically just shoot some self-tapping screws through the camera bracket into the body of the # FRCBRKT-BL to connect them together and then mount it all to their trailer using the Furrion mounting holes.
