Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Lippert replacement exterior window frame with seal for RV exterior doors. Now, this window frame is going to install on the exterior of your entry door for doors with a black exterior and interior frame. And this is going to protect your interior from the elements. This does include the glass. And as you can see, the glass is obscure, so it is translucent and it is gonna let light in, but it's also gonna give you privacy as well.
So it you're going to want to install the smooth side facing out and then that textured side facing inside of your trailer. And that's going to allow for a better seal. And as you can see, the seal is there in the frame, so this does not include hardware, it'll just adhere with the seal. And then the two frames on the interior and exterior frames are going to clip together with the secure mounting system there, attachment system, as you can see. So those are going to snap or secure together very tightly, very securely.
So just some overall measurements. Looking at the overall height from top to bottom, I measured just a little bit under 25 inches, so about 24 3/4 inches tall. The overall width from end to end, we're about 15 3/4 inches wide. And then when it comes to the glass, looking at the width first, we're sitting right about 12 inches wide and 21 inches tall. And so again, that's going to be real glass in there, that is included.
It's gonna let light in, but again, someone's not gonna be able to come up to your door and look into your camper because of that obscure texture. I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

Cheap, cheap junk. Does NOT bolt together, it clips so it’s not very secure. I will have to use silicone on outside to ensure seal. Difficult to assemble as RV doors are not ground level. Need 2 patient people to put together. Cheap plastic junk! Very disappointed!
This kit is what we needed to replace the window in our camper which got vandalized. It does include the glass. :/ Make sure you also get the "keys" Item #LC429436.
window frame was exactly as ordered. the only complaint i have is the tape you used to fasten the interior and exterior parts together for shipping. the tape left a nasty, very hard to remove, residue on the frames. i'm still trying to get it all off. i would suggest you wrap things like this in paper first, THEN tape over that. other than that, the shipping was fast i'm very pleased with my order. thanks much.........

The only thing I purchased from etrailer that I wish I hadn't. There were no instructions and I didn't find any until now that I'm writing the review. I was installing this into a door that didn't have a windo previously. Trying to figure out how large to cut the opening proved far more difficult than one would think. Once I got the hole to the correct size I found that the frame was wider than the door. This was because there was no frame built into the door. I ended up building a frame to make this work. I thought it might take a couple of hours to install instead it took closer to 8 hours.

Window frame fit my trailer perfectly with no modifications required. The pre-caulking helped to expedite installation.

Window frames are still looking good as the day installed and water tight.
I asked the tech if my lippert shade would fit it, there is no track for it. I had to use it because we were going camping and the old frame was broken.
Just received kit yesterday. Opened box to check everything and seems to be OK. Going to install it this weekend.I will let you know how it comes out.
All I really wanted was new frames as mine had cracked due to weather/age ,however I got all me frames and glass. I wish new ones would have had matching screw hole like original rather than no holes just a compression type fitting.Hope they last.
Fits well within the window cutout but does not create a tight fit to the door. It will do ok but will need to add caulking or RV sealant to keep it from moving around while mobile. Very easy to install but the older ones with screws were just as easy in my opinion.
Perfect fit and still going strong
I only used glass,worked well.
Would like to buy just glass. next time

everything i have ordered from etrailer has come right away and works great very goog customer service
seems to be good quality- extra holders so it should not crack so easily- see what happens looks like a good seal and new glass

Window seems to be okay. Wasn't exactly what I thought I was ordering. The panel that was being replaced is held together with several screws. The one that I was installing is held together with bayonet type fingers. Time will tell how well it seals and stays together. Should work.
Fit was great but I have a suggestion, in the future packing provide separation so pegs do not engage one another, had two that were right out the box and had a time getting them declipped
Very easy to install...couple of minutes figuring out the clips. After that popped write in less than 5 minutes.
Easy to find items shipping was prompt good quality and easy installation

Working great was perfect fit and very easy installation
I'm happy I bought this unit. It fit my 1990 Fleetwood Jamboree perfectly. The original unit was literally falling apart and this new unit installed easily. I gave it four stars because I'm not impressed with the plastic ratchet post/slot assembly. It closed with a lot of pressure and remained tight, which is great. However, it's plastic. While it's great for now, I would have preferred screws, which will last the next decade or two. Having no confidence in the long term viability of plastic, I used caulking in the post/slots to "glue" them together, and installed both the interior and exterior sections with caulking, hoping the caulking does the long term job of keeping the unit in place, even after the plastic has become brittle. I'll update you in 10 years - hahaha.
For now, I love the unit and would recommend it to anyone with my caveat about the plastic parts rather than screws.

Fantastic! I needed the new window frame because the AZ heat eventually melted the original. My new stained glass window looks amazing in it too. I will, of course, continue to use etrailer!
