Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look together at this Lippert replacement exterior window frame with seal for RV exterior doors. Now, this window frame is going to install on the exterior of your entry door for doors with a black exterior and interior frame. And this is going to protect your interior from the elements. This does include the glass. And as you can see, the glass is obscure, so it is translucent and it is gonna let light in, but it's also gonna give you privacy as well.
So it you're going to want to install the smooth side facing out and then that textured side facing inside of your trailer. And that's going to allow for a better seal. And as you can see, the seal is there in the frame, so this does not include hardware, it'll just adhere with the seal. And then the two frames on the interior and exterior frames are going to clip together with the secure mounting system there, attachment system, as you can see. So those are going to snap or secure together very tightly, very securely.
So just some overall measurements. Looking at the overall height from top to bottom, I measured just a little bit under 25 inches, so about 24 3/4 inches tall. The overall width from end to end, we're about 15 3/4 inches wide. And then when it comes to the glass, looking at the width first, we're sitting right about 12 inches wide and 21 inches tall. And so again, that's going to be real glass in there, that is included.
It's gonna let light in, but again, someone's not gonna be able to come up to your door and look into your camper because of that obscure texture. I think that's gonna wrap up our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.

Excellent product, but do have a suggestion:
I would include the screws for the window frame installation.
I received my window and faucet a day early. So I installed them day early! Pretty straight forward. The faucet was plug and play. The window requires three hands. One thing of concern is the window is not secured by screws. Where I go, the roads in and out are bad, or worse. Baja tends to level the playing field. I would have preferred a window that is help in by mechanical fasteners. But time will tell. I did use some extra sealant and will hope for the best.

Looks okay. Not installed yet but the advertising photos aren’t accurate. It snaps together and isn’t screwed together as dipicted in the photos and in the installation video. I wanted the screw together version as it seems more secure but that not what I received

Working great was perfect fit and very easy installation
Window seems to be okay. Wasn't exactly what I thought I was ordering. The panel that was being replaced is held together with several screws. The one that I was installing is held together with bayonet type fingers. Time will tell how well it seals and stays together. Should work.
seems to be good quality- extra holders so it should not crack so easily- see what happens looks like a good seal and new glass

been good no dust or water leaks
I'm happy I bought this unit. It fit my 1990 Fleetwood Jamboree perfectly. The original unit was literally falling apart and this new unit installed easily. I gave it four stars because I'm not impressed with the plastic ratchet post/slot assembly. It closed with a lot of pressure and remained tight, which is great. However, it's plastic. While it's great for now, I would have preferred screws, which will last the next decade or two. Having no confidence in the long term viability of plastic, I used caulking in the post/slots to "glue" them together, and installed both the interior and exterior sections with caulking, hoping the caulking does the long term job of keeping the unit in place, even after the plastic has become brittle. I'll update you in 10 years - hahaha.
For now, I love the unit and would recommend it to anyone with my caveat about the plastic parts rather than screws.
I only used glass,worked well.
Would like to buy just glass. next time

Fantastic! I needed the new window frame because the AZ heat eventually melted the original. My new stained glass window looks amazing in it too. I will, of course, continue to use etrailer!
