I’m looking at item TH824PRO Thule Tailgate pad for 2017 Ram 1500 Question Does this work with ebike? Thanks

The Thule GateMate Pro Tailgate Pad # TH824PRO is a universal product and can essentially be used with any style of bike. The main purposes of this pad is to protect your tailgate and bikes from scratches while also adding some straps to keep your bike(s) from bouncing around in your truck bed. It doesn't have a weight capacity since the truck bed will be supporting the weight of your bike(s).

With that being said, e-bikes tend to be more of a premium bike so if you'd like something a little nicer that still utilizes your truck bed you can check out the Thule Insta-Gater Pro Truck Bed Bike Rack # TH93VR. This uses a hook that secures the front or rear wheel of your bike so the frame of your bike won't be making contact with anything like it would with the tailgate pad. You would only be able to use this option if the front or rear tire doesn't have a fender.
