When it comes to installing The Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 3-1/8 inch Lift # K71-725-02 on your 1973 Airstream it will work if you have side-mounted #12 Torflex axles with a weight capacity between 5,500-7,000 pounds. It is not compatible with top-mounted torsion axles, and cannot be used with 3 inch tall brackets.

The Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle - 2-7/8 inch Lift # K71-724-02 will work for you if you have a side-mounted #11 Torflex axle with a weight capacity between 4,100-6,000 pounds. It is not compatible with top-mounted torsion axles and cannot be used with 3 inch tall brackets.
