Parts Needed For Flat Towing a 2011 Honda CR-V With Falcon 2 Tow Bar

What is the height from the ground to the connection point with a Falcon 2 Tow bar?

The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521559-5 will have a height of approximately 17-1/4" on your 2011 Honda CR-V with 225/65-17 tires. Depending on your tire size and any suspension sag over time your exact height may be different.

You will need to verify the receiver height on your tow vehicle to determine if you will need a high-low adapter for the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. The High-Low Adapter is available in a 4" # RM-048-4, 6" # RM-048-6, 8" # RM-048-8, and 10" # RM-048-10. You want the bars to be within 3" of level from your CR-V to tow vehicle.

The RoadMaster Falcon 2 Combo Towing Kit # RM-9243-1 will provide you with the safety cables, storage cover, bag, locks and wiring needed for your set up. The ACC Radio 34 Fuse must be removed from the instrument panel fuse box, or you can use the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass # RM76511 to simply flip a switch to disconnect the fuse.

I recommend the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR for your CR-V. This system is mounted on your CR-V to allow the brakes to activate when the hydraulic brakes on your tow vehicle are activated. If your tow vehicle use air brakes you will need the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # DM26VR. The Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25 will ensure your battery is not drained by the braking system.
