Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2010 Cadillac CTS
Updated 10/21/2013 | Published 10/17/2013 >
Question:
Im going to be installing this for use with only a bike rack. I want the cleanest most hidden hitch that you offer. The Curt seems like a little nicer on the design that you actually use, but I cant tell how much is visible. So my question is which one tucks away the most and looks like the best quality?

The location and visibility of a trailer hitch on your 2010 Cadillac CTS will be almost identical between Curt, # C11307 and Draw-Tite, # 24767. Each of these trailer hitches use the same mounting location and have practically the same dimensions. For an exact measurement, the end of the receiver from the Curt hitch will actually sit 1/8 of an inch closer to the rear edge of the bumper.
As far as aesthetics are concerned, I agree that the Curt hitch has a more pleasing design. We have not had a chance to install the Curt hitch on a CTS, but we have installed the Draw-Tite hitch. I attached a photo shows what the hitch will look like once it is installed. Again, the only difference between the hitch in the photo and the Curt hitch is the design of the receiver and safety chain loops. Keep in mind, the hitch that you referenced and the hitches I referenced fit the sedan models of the CTS.
