Expert Reply:
The Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter - GFCI - 2,000 Watt - 12V # 34278156 runs off of battery (DC) power and not shore power (AC). The inverter converts DC voltage to AC voltage so you wouldn't want to or be able to power it with AC voltage.
If you're just wanting to maintain the battery while in storage we have a variety of solar panel options like the Bright Way Solar Battery Charger # BRW54FR which can help maintain your motorhome's battery while in storage.
A converter like the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger # PD9245C can also be used to keep your battery charged while hooked into your 110v outlet.
