Hello, Im having trouble choosing the right hitch for my Dodge. I have a receiver on it now, but how do I tell if its factory or aftermarket? What receiver will fit it? What do I look for to tell? Thanks!

Thanks for your pictures, this helped me identify that your hitch is a factory hitch on you 2007 Ram 2500. I can tell because of the design and the way the hitch is mounted to the cross-frame with a weld.

I have linked all the hitches that will fit this factory hitch for you to check out. You will have both 2 inch and 2-1/2 inch receiver options. Which you would like will depend on your trailer setup.

A great hitch if you wanted a 2 inch receiver would be the Draw-Tite # 41929.
