Will The B&W Patriot Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch Work With A 2022 Ford F-250 With Factory Pucks?

Hello, I have an older Patriot hitch that I use right now with my 2018 Chevy Silverado but I am getting a 2022 F-350 with the factory prep for the hitch. Should I just get the adapter and use the Patriot or am I better of buying the Companion. I am concerned that the adapter might add too much height to the hitch but I dont really know.

The Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C88KR that you mention for your B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 will only add about 2-1/2" of height.
With the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3270 measuring in at 17-19" in height, your total height with this adapter will be 19-1/2" - 21-1/2".
To verify if this is going to be too much/not enough height for your 5th wheel, you'll want to measure from the ground to the bottom of your pin box where your king pin is. You'll then need to choose one of the height settings that will give you the most level ride. To determine this, you'll need to measure from the ground to the head unit on the 5th wheel.
You'll also want to ensure that you have at least 5-6" of space between the bed rails and the trailer to ensure that you have no contact between the two.
