What energy is used to actuate the pedal actuator, vacuum or pressure? If its pressure actuated, does that mean the vacuum pump is also the air compressor?

The Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System, # SM99251 uses vacuum pressure to activate a mechanical linkage. We have an installation video created of the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System being installed on a 2010 Jeep Wrangler, please note the link below.
