While we do have an option for you, I confirmed with my tech at Dometic/Atwood that the 10-gallon gas only models like the G10-1 are no longer available. With that being said, the replacement unit that is available from Dometic that includes gas is a combo unit. That is the Dometic RV Water Heater - Gas and Electric - Automatic Pilot - 120 Volt # DMC74FR. This is a 6-gallon heater.

There are two ways you can install/use this unit:

1. Install the Combo unit and treat it as a Gas Only – with this option there is no need to run additional wiring and they can continue to use the existing wall switch. Wiring would be green to green / blue to blue / whatever is hooked to brown would now go to orange. Cap off the white wire from the combo water heater wiring harness. The unit will now work as a GAS ONLY.

2. If you want to make use of the electric option on the new Combo unit, 120VAC wiring must be ran and hooked up to the rear of the water heater WITH A 120V OUTLET (Cannot hardwire!), a new DUAL wall switch would be needed, and an additional wire would need to be ran from the water heater to the new Dual wall switch.
