LED Light
The LED light acts as a convenient night light or accent light. Whether installed on your ceiling or sidewall, the light will assist in leading you to the restroom in the middle of the night or into the kitchen for a midnight snack.
Rain Shield
The built-in rain shield surrounds the vent opening so that you can use it in rain or shine. The shield blocks rainwater and other debris from entering through the vent and damaging the interior of your RV or camper. It also eliminates the need to install a separate vent cover.
Fan Guard

I think it seems like a great product that adapts to variables with this kind of part.
But if you don't need half the parts you're paying for them anyway. A lot. But that said I wish the adaptive tube was easy to cut and there are no really helpful suggestions in that regard.

Honestly not my first time purchasing these fans. Not the best cfm on the market, but stylish, compact, and overall simple eazy use. Installation is easy with a 6inch hole saw

Easy installation and works really well. There is a push “release” button on the handle that really does not work to open and close the vent, but it opens and closes just fine. If you need a side vent for your RV I recommend this one highly. If you have a 2022 Keystone Avalanche 390DS with the rear shower, this is the side vent you have been looking for.

MaxxFan Dome vent with light - great little single speed fan. I added a switch on the wall (see 4th picture) to control the fan portion of the kit even though there is a switch ON the fan. Just makes it accessible if one were seated if you know you what I mean.
Nice Features: Easy to install in replacing old worn out noisy Head fan. The round fan body has trim for ceilings of various depths which was easy to cut down to the correct sloped depth for our campervan fiberglass top plus the added interior framing for insulation and cedar ceiling. The outside cover protects from rain and debris while driving. There is a cool ring light in the trim as well. Our configuration doesn't really need a light in the Head as it is rather open to the "hallway/kitchen/living room" which has LED puck lights. This light is great for having a little light on when we leave the van for a bit at night. Just enough to not return to complete darkness when climbing in after a midnight walk on the beach. This little fan works great as an adjunct to the big MaxxFan in the LR when I want some serious air cross flow. One blowing in and the other out.
Again kudos to the eTrailer staff for keeping it real and giving us great products at great prices. We did a complete campervan rebuild and eTrailer was my Go-To for all kinds of parts.

These fans are garbage!!
I read the reviews saying they were loud and stopped working, but there were only a few so I thought, eh, there's always lemons in every batch. Let me add another bad review so you can save yourself the time and money!
These things suck.
The first one I bought started making very very loud growling noises when it was turned on after 3 days of using it and testing it out. I neglected to get it sent in for a replacement, so I just bought ANOTHER one. Horrible idea. Now this one is starting to get loud after 2 months of use and the on off button is almost at a point where you'd have to tape it down for it to stay on.
Do not buy this fan if you want something that you don't have to keep replacing. Now I have a useless fan in the side of my camper and no other fan will fit this hole or use.
It also doesn't really remove that much air even if its just for cooking or bathroom use. Just dont buy it.

It works perfectly and is great to have. I had to slightly modify the factory hole on my 2014 Airstream Interstate, but it was fairly straight forward and well worth it. Definitely a good addition to the rig.

The unit arrived quickly and included thorough instructions on what was needed. The complete assembly was straight-forward, with screws and wires easily hidden; and the functionality is everything I was hoping for - good fan flow, not too draining on my battery system, with a good ring light on the outside edge. The operation is easy and no rain came in while open and on the move.

Overall great experience. Good customer service answering questions before purchase. Product was direct fit replacement on our LTV 2017 Serenity RV. If you have a curved interior ceiling it takes a little effort to adjust the extension sleeve so the light ring hasa flush fit to the ceiling. Much quieter than the original fan.

Item came in good working condition however factory packaging seemed to missing a piece. The etrailer team was extremely helpful in getting this replaced quickly. Their customer service will keep me returning to their site as I am assured they stand behind their products!

First of all, it was wonderful to see how well the vent was packaged and to see all parts were included. The installation was straight forward, but it was a little difficult to align the interior trim ring just right. The vent works great and we are thrilled with the bright LED light.

Meant probably more for bathrooms then a van build. I picked this over the other simple unit as I'm building out a small van and wanted some airflow. Poor at best and hard to sleep with it on and running.

Thank you for your review. This roof vent is designed to remove unwanted hot air and moisture from your RVs kitchen or bathroom. It is equivalent to a ceiling fan. I recommend the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent and Thermostat part # FV802250 with a reversible 12V fan that will allow you to push air out and pull air into the van.

Installed this today. Very easy replacement in airstream bath. Not to noisy and the light is fantastic. Only 4 stars at this time because of reviews saying they become noisy after a few months. We will see. etrailer is great!

I sold that RV last May and bought a Promaster 3500 which will have two Maxxair fans. Ill let you know if there have been any improvements on after we travel in after April 17th.One thing that we very much do like about MaxxAir is you can open and use it in the rain.
