Question:
I purchased the 14000 Equalizer Weight distribution for my Jayco Eagle HT 312 BHOK. After looking through your site I noticed the 16000 Equalizer is recommended. Is this correct? I just want to make sure before I return and upgrade from the 14000 to the 16000. I have not installed the 14000 at this time.

The Equal-i-zer weight distribution systems aren't RV specific. The correct system for your needs will depend on the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your Travel Trailer (which will include the weight of any cargo stowed in the tow vehicle behind its rear axle).
The # EQ64FR 1600 lb TW system is designed for trailers with tongue weights ranging from 1200-1600 lbs and is compatible with 2-1/2 inch receivers. The # EQ37140ET 1400 lb TW rated system is designed for 1000-1400 lbs of tongue weight, and is compatible with 2 inch recievers. If you wanted a 1400 lb system for a 2-1/2 inch receiver, use part # EQ37141ET which is the 1400 lb system minus the shank. The 2-1/2 inch shank is sold separately as part # EQ90-02-4700.
If you're unsure of the fully loaded tongue weight of your Travel Trailer, I've linked to an article that explains how to figure it out.
