What Dually Tire Valve Extenders do You Recommend for My 2016 Ford F-350 Dually?

Question:

Just got a 2016 F350 dually diesel, 2WD to pull a goose neck living quarter horse trailer. I’m looking for best extenders for easy access to check tire pressure. Parts guy recommended getting a single extender that connects both tires like semi trucks use. What are pros and cons and concept behind this type of extender? Are TPMS worth getting for this setup?

While we do carry great extenders for your dually 2016 Ford F-350, we do not carry any extenders with a single inflation point that inflates both tires simultaneously. However, we do have a great option that involve easily-accessible valves for independently inflating your dually tires.

I recommend using either the Wheel Masters 4-Hose Inflation Kit - 16" to 19-1/2" Dually # WM8001 (hub mount) or the # WM8208 (wheel cover mount). The hub mount is a more permanent installation that involves riveting while the wheel cover mount involves a clamp-on attachment style. These extenders work with standard-sized tires between 16 and 19-1/2 dually wheels. With these extenders, you have easy access to both inflation points on the outside wheel of your F-350. I went ahead and attached a video that walks you through the features.

While it is certainly not required to install a TPMS system with your horse trailer, the system does take away the worry of traveling with inefficient tire pressures. For your trailer, I recommend the TST TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Tire Sensors # TST-507-RV-4-C. This system comes with a mountable in-cab monitor and refreshes automatically with new tire information every 5 minutes for nearly-live information.
