Question:

Hi. Id like to put an EZ Connector setup on my 2021 Toyota 4Runner and trailer. The 4Runner has the pictured factory original 7 way. This part looks like what I need for the 4Runner see photos. But Im not sure if it will fit in the original mounting location and I do not see how the EZ Connector would be secured to the original location. The original 7/4 way outlet has integral clips. The EZ Connector description says Connector fits into factory socket mounting location on most newer vehicles Adapter brackets or standard mounting bracket sold separately also available. So, my questions are: Is this the right EZ Connector to directly plug into my 4Runner? Can I and how do I mount it in the original location? If I decide to add EZ Connector and keep my original 4Runner 7 way/4 way in place and functional, I would get Item # 319-R7-06 correct? Thanks!

The EZ Connector Custom Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector # 319-S7-06 will connect to the factory plug on your 2021 Toyota 4-Runner. It does not offer a clip mount system like your current factory Trailer Connector # HM40975. Instead you would need to use the included self tapping screws to secure the magnetic connector in place.

The EZ Connector Custom Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ Magnetic 7-Way Trailer Connector # 319-R7-06 does allow you to keep your factory 7-way/4-way and have the additional magnetic connection. It will include a separate mounting bracket for the additional connection that can be placed in a convenient location.
