Question:

My Ultra Fab Phoenix 5500 will extend but not retract. Green Light illuminates, so it doesnt seem to be the switch that is an issue.

If you can use the emergency override that allows for manual operation of your Ultra-Fab Phoenix Electric Trailer Jack, # UF38-944055, then that minimizes the mechanical failure possibilities and isolates the issue to electrical components. I suggest you ensure there is a full charge on your battery as low voltage will have an effect on operation. If you have a full charge I suggest you focus on the electrical connections and the switch.

If you cannot retract using the manual operation, you have something binding or a broken and may need to replace depending on the exact component.
