Dimension from Mounting Bracket to Top of Jack on JET-5000 Electric Trailer jack 5,000 Pounds

Question:

How tall is the upper side of the jack, from the mounting flange to the top of the jack. Also are there any shorter options in the same weight range. looking for something that will not hit my tailgate when it is down.

The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack# JET-5000 that you referenced in your question has a distance of 23 inches from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack. You can measure this distance up from the A-frame of your trailer to see exactly where this will sit in relation to the tailgate on your truck.

This dimension will be similar for all electric trailer jacks within this same 5,000 pound weight range. I have attached a couple of video demonstrations on the # JET-5000 for you to check out so you can see all of its features in action.
