Are Modifications Needed to Install etrailer e98843 Class III Hitch on 2020 Ford Transit T250

Question:

I have a 2020 Ford Transit 250 High Roof Extended. Will the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 Item # e98842 fit with ease and without any mods? Wiring kit?

As long as your 2020 Ford Transit T250 isn't an Cab/Chassis or Cutaway Chassis model, the etrailer brand # e98842 hitch would be a fit.

'With ease' is a pretty subjective term. The install won't require any modifications to the vehicle, but installing the two rear-most self-threading bolts on each side is a little challenging, as shown in the linked install video. If you wish, you can use a M12 x 1.75 thread tap to cut threads into the sleeves that are welded into the frame members to accept the installation hardware. Using the install hardware with an impact wrench is NOT recommended.
