Question:

Good afternoon, What type, part number and cost of rear air bag would you suggest for my 2017 Ram 1500 Larimie? It has a Rail system in the 6’-4” bed to hold cargo tight, what type of slide rail hard tonneau cover do you suggest? The rail system on the Ram is called Ram Box Cargo Management System. The air bag kit I recommend for your 2017 Ram 1500 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers # AL88365 because it is compatible with an in-bed hitch, comes with internal jounce bumpers for extra safety. Current pricing can be found on the product page.

I also recommend picking up an air compressor kit so you can adjust the air bags on the go. My recommendation is the QuickShot # AL25572 so you have the reserve tank to fill accessories when you need.

Then for a retractable tonneau cover I really like the RetraxPRO MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT80235 because it has a matte black finish and an aluminum construction so you don't have to worry about the cover rusting over time. I also like the retracting design for this because you get a handle on the driver's side of the truck bed instead of a strap on the cover that you have to consciously make sure you keep at the end of the truck bed.
