Question:

I think I found my bike rack! Please confirm. I will be driving a 2022 Honda CR-V ex-l. I am having them install a hitch for me but it will only be 1 1/4” We have 2 blix aveny ebikes We also have a 2007 coachman freelander class c Motorhome we may put this rack on. Should I get a bike frame adaptor bar? Or am I ok? Can you recommend a hitch adapter for this to fit in my 1 1/4 “ hitch? My bikes are not with us right now they are being stored for the winter and I don’t have my car yet it’s on order. Thank you. I hope you find this and help me ??????

Yes! You will be able to use the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches # S94FR on both your 2022 Honda CR-V as well as your 2007 Coachman Freelander Class C Motorhome. For your Blix Aveny e-bikes, it looks like they have step-thru frames with a slanted crosstube. If this is the case, I recommend the bike frame adapter bar # 64005 for each of your bikes to attach to the ratcheting hooks of the E-Spec.

If you are having a 1-1/4" hitch installed on your 2022 Honda CR-V, you are 100% correct in knowing that you need to have a 1-1/4" to 2" adapter in order to use the 2" shank on the E-Spec. For that adapter, I recommend the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD. However, it is important to note that using any hitch adapter like the # HTAD reduces the overall weight capacity of your hitch by 50%. It is important to make sure that your hitch can handle the 60 pound weight of the E-Spec in addition to the combined weight of the Blix Aveny e-bikes.
