Does Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty LED Only Flash When Trailer is Connected

Question:
REDARC Tow-Pro liberty trailer brakes. So after installation, without a trailer, will the LED flash for initial calibration or not until a trailer is hooked up? 2013 Ford E350 Thor 22E

Good question, and a trailer does need to be connected in order for the LEDs to be on when using the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR.
If a trailer is not connected and you press the manual override of the Liberty # RED24FR, the LED will just flash blue, but go out again, which means the controller does have power.
