How to Ease Attaching and Removing Spring Bars on an EAZ Lift Elite Weight Distribution Hitch
Updated 08/27/2013 | Published 08/23/2013 >
Question:
Hi! How do you easily and smoothly attach and remove the bars? At trailer dealer pushed and pulled and they finally got them in. I am, a 60-year old woman - not the strongest... and its hard to be on my knees. Is there some trick to getting the bars in and out? THANKS

The easiest way to take tension off the round spring bars in your EAZ Lift Elite weight distribution hitch is to use the trailer tongue jack to raise the coupled trailer and hitch ball. By using the jack to support much of the tongue weight there will be less force applied to the spring bars and they will be easier to move in and out of position on the lift brackets.
For reference I have included a link to our main product page for trailer jacks.
