Looking at the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - Spindle w/Brake Flange - Regular Tires - 2,200 lbs Item # ASR1THDS01 Hello It says it can use the 1750 dexter hubs. is that the 10inch brakes then? could you provide me the part number info for the brake hubs and brake system please? I am looking at doing this on a 1983 13inch fiberglass scamp camper. stock axel is 2000#, new scamps use the 2200#. Thanks!

We can definitely get you set up with the right hubs and electric brakes for the Timbren axle-less system, and you are 100% correct that they are the 10 inch brakes. I'll go ahead and list out the parts for you that work together:

- Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 84546UC3-EZ
- Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469
The brake kit comes with both the left and right assembly as well as the mounting hardware so you won't need any additional parts, and the hub comes with the bearings, races and grease seal.
So this would be the set up you need, and the Timbrens are a really smart choice because they give you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle. The Timbrens aren't connected by an axle beam, so they work independently, meaning if there is a bump on one side of the road it won't rattle your entire trailer. The system also has progressive springs built in which are shock absorbers that allow a much smoother, more comfortable ride than the leaf springs found on standard axles.
