The hitch you have referenced, Curt Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C15409, is a 2 inch receiver, and can be installed along with an OEM receiver, on your Dodge Ram 3500. The towing capacity for this hitch is 17000 lbs, and it also has a tongue weight capacity of 2550 lbs. No ball mount, clip or pin is included, so I would recommend B&W Ball Mount, part # BWBMHD30010. I would also recommend Pin and Clip, part # PC3. For a 2-inch hitch ball, I would recommend part # A-90. It has a towing capacity of 10000lbs.
From the photo you supplied, it appears as if the top receiver is a 2 inch and the bottom receiver is 2-1/2 inch. If you want a 2-1/2 inch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C15809. This has a towing capacity of 20000 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 2700 lbs. For this receiver I would recommend the Convert-A-Ball mount, Part # AMSCV-2. It has a towing capacity of 18000 lbs. I would also recommend Hitch ball, part # 63840, which has a towing capacity of 20000 lbs.
I do need to note that the OEM hitch and the aftermarket hitch were not designed to be used at the same time.
