Question:

I have a 2008 Tacoma Short bed with a Century topper. The Topper is only 57 inch long, with probably around 54 inch of flat surface to attach the tracks too. The tracks sold with this Kit are 63. Should I expect to cut them down? Or is there another kit that comes with the 54 inch bars, but ~48 inch tracks? Thank you

You can either cut down the 63" long tracks that come with the Rhino-Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y02-480B to fit your 2008 Toyota Tacoma OR you can purchase the 47-1/4" long Rhino-Rack Tracks # RTC12JW and get the 54" Vortex crossbars and legs separately as part # Y02-480B-NT. This isn't as cost-effective but it does keep you from having to mess with cutting the tracks if you know the 47-1/4" length will work for your application.
