One kit was missing sealant but I just bought some from the store. Also, the HD tracks packaging was opened on arrival but the only thing missing was the directions which I pulled from online. Overall, very happy with the end products mounted to the truck
Works great. Read instructions. There are more holes then bolts. I guess to give you options on where you put the holes. I marked and drilled all the holes, then realised i didn't have near enough hardware. Ordered a spare parts kit to have enough. 1 year later no leaks and works as it should. installed on a camper shell
Come to find out, these roof tracks were as easy to come by as unicorn horn! I had first ordered these in February from another retailer to be notified that they were not available. This happened again with another retailer. Then came etrailer... the original delivery date did change, however etrailer was quick and upfront about providing any changes. Thank you etrailer for the clear communication and great price. About the tracks themselves, they are identical to yakima tracks I've installed in the past. Drill the holes carefully, follow all the instructions and use the provided and sealant and you will have great, load distributing tracks to place your roof racks on.
The tracks arrived quickly and well packaged. During the installation I discovered that Yakima changed to a size 10-32 by 1 inch long screw. Jot being stayed in the description caused issues because the are a little short to effectively mount to the fiberglass truck topper as they are intended. A trip to the hardware store was necessary. Yakima also needs a better end cap to allow adding hardware without needing to completly remove a screw which can be difficult without a second person in this application.
It seems like the package arrived before I ordered it. I was amazed how fast it came. Everything was there and installation instructions were complete. Excellent product, well built with a reasonable price. Don't be afraid to do it yourself.
Purchased for cab extension on F-150. Works as expected. Good price and quick shipping.
Worked great! By mounting the tracks directly to the rails of my Tonneau Switchback retractable bed cover on this short bed F150 I was able to put a bike rack system using existing Yakima towers and bars. The bike rack can be moved to other Yakima systems and locations easily.
The mounting hardware collapsing nuts sucked. Snapped the tool to crunch them and they didn’t grab at all.
I'm a bit disappointed in the construction of these Yakima Tracks. I previously purchased and installed on a couple of truck bed caps and they were aluminum extrusions. These are formed sheet metal with a plastic base. I used them but am not a fan of the materials now used...
Great customer service!
Had an initial snafu with the shipping, but eTrailer eventually got it righted. Product is what I ordered and was packaged well. Would have given 5 stars, but since it took almost a month to get, can't do that. The low profile track is what I wanted.
Missing parts. Items damaged in transport. Looks like it was a repackaged return.
Installation was easy and they have worked out very well for my installation.
Delivery was timely, packaged well, received undamaged with All parts. Thanks.
Items were shipped in a nice rigid cardboard tube. Racks are nice. I ordered Y8810074 nuts with it so I could bolt anything into it. Tube of black silicone was more than enough. I havent rain tested it in my topper yet, but it should be fine. ARE toppers have insulation in the middle, and are reinforced on either side of insulation to support a rack. I mounted at 42" apart.

The black silicone has held water out of the topper, so I would call it successful. The black plastic nuts securing the rails to the topper have not backed off Ii have a carpet roof. The rack is mostly for looks at this point, and the black low profile tracks are a really nice touch on a black and white pickup.

What do you think you'll have up there? The install looks great, by the way! :)
