I have a champion generator that is 25.1 inches wide. Will it fit inside the tray?

You'd need something wider like the part # MR27FR as the # MR79FR would not be wide enough. It has an internal width of 24 inches. The one I mentioned has an inner width of 25-7/8 inches.
