Question:

Hello! We just purchased a 2020 Ford F-250 Superduty 4WD with the 6-3/4 inch bed without the OEM fifth wheel prep kit. We are looking at buying this 18K slider hitch from BandW. We also want to install airbags and a compressor on the truck. Will we have any problems installing airbags with these hitch rails? What kind of airbags would you recommend? We prefer the Firestone but whatever will work best! Thanks for your help!

The B&W Custom Base Rails # BWRVK2402 and Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3270 are an excellent option for your 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty and will fit just fine with the Firestone air bags. I recommend using the Red Label Kit # F95FV because it has a higher 7,500 lb weight capacity so they won't have to work as hard as the standard 5K air bags do. Please note that an air bag kit won't increase the weight capacity of your truck as it is designed to help support the OEM suspension.

For an air compressor system I recommend the Firestone Air Command II # F2168 because it allows you to adjust the air bags independently plus it comes with a 1/2 gallon tank which you can use as a filling station for any bikes or anything else you might take with you on your trip. The No-Drill Mount Kit # F2530 makes installation easier.
